Vacation Bible SchoolShine Brightly with Jesus
June 15th 6pm to 8pm in the youth building
A VBS program designed to help children and teens see what it looks like to live as bearers of Christ’s light right where they are. Through Scripture, conversation, creativity, and worship, students learn that Jesus is our greatest hope. His resurrection assures us that nothing is beyond God’s power, and that love always has the final word.

This program invites students to shine through their attitudes, their choices, and the way they treat one another. As they grow in wisdom, prayer, teamwork, praise, and hope, they begin to understand that following Jesus is not just something we talk about. It is something we live.

Book of Joshua
chronicles God’s continuing faithfulness to fulfill His covenant promises to Abraham. It is a book of transitions, in which Joshua rises to leadership and the people of God step across the Jordan into the long-awaited land of promise. The task of possessing the land will test the limits of their strength and their courage, but God’s covenant will not fail them. And Joshua’s faithful example will whisper toward the perfect faithfulness of Christ Himself.

In this 10-session, verse-by-verse study of the book of Joshua, Jen Wilkin helps us see how God’s commands, though sometimes difficult, are always rooted in His steadfast love for His people. Israel’s story is our story. We battle not against flesh and blood as they did, but we courageously war against the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil, trusting in the finished work of the true and better Joshua, Jesus Christ.

Book of Nehemiah
Nehemiah’s heart was so broken for those in need that he left the comfort of his Persian palace to help them. In this 7-session Bible study by Kelly Minter, you’ll walk through the book of Nehemiah to discover real-life ways to put feet to your faith. Are you ready to let God break your heart for a hurting, lost world and move you in compassion to be the hands and feet of Jesus? Jump into this study featuring authentic Bible teaching, recipes, and a relational approach.

The Gospel of John
He is one with God the Father, a shepherd who will lead us and protect us, truth we can trust above all else, light from heaven, bread of life, a vine we can grow with, and water to satisfy our thirsty souls. Amos is often called a prophet of doom. And when you begin to read his prophecy, it doesn’t take long to realize that nickname fits. On the surface, his prophecy doesn’t sound like a happy formula for the good life. However, every condemnation he gives serves as an invitation, a cry for us to “seek God and live” (Amos 5:4). You’ll be invited to live assured, faithful, chosen, humble, justly, prayerful, and hopeful. This kind of living will bring us and others around us peace and true prosperity.

Jeremiah
Learn to surrender to God’s will and rest your hope in Him alone. When we look around at today’s world, hope usually isn’t the first word that comes to mind. In many ways, we live in an unstable world where marriages fail, bank accounts run low, friendships end, and the everyday demands of a fast-paced life get us down. In the Book of Jeremiah, we find God calling out to His people with a message of hope – a message that intentional living is possible even in an unstable world. But how do we do this? Where do we start?
