Mission Sunday is designed to inspire and inform the congregation about mission work with the hope of motivating individuals to engage in the mission project(s) that New Mercies will undertake.
Join Pastor Marlon Harris, the guest speaker. He will inspire us with his message about his church’s engagement in mission work. Further inspiration in worship will come from an African dance ensemble. A young adult who participated on a mission trip in 2023 will share her experiences with the youth. The Sunday School class will be enriched by a guest instructor who has participated in mission trips to India. And to help create an atmosphere charged with excitement about mission work, we are asking everyone to wear African attire.
