FranchescaGuest Psalmist
Raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and later settling with her family in Atlanta, Georgia, Franchesca Cintron is a wife, mother of two, and a Christian singer and songwriter. Her voice synchronizes the warmth of her southern roots and her love for her savior, creating the perfect fusion between a wholesome message and an R&B vibe. Her debut album, ‘desires of my heart’ was released in 2019, introducing her smooth sound to the contemporary gospel scene. Her 2022 sophomore follow-up album, beauty for ashes, touched her listeners’ hearts and souls by sharing her struggles and victories as she embarked on her new journey into motherhood. A compilation of insightful lyrics and personal experiences, her second studio album showcases her most transparent and vulnerable songs to date. In 2023, Franchesca released one of her most cherished songs, ‘inner me’, reflecting on her journey of personal growth, healing, and working on her inner self. Since its release, ‘inner me’ has gone viral, reaching over half a million reel views on Instagram and TikTok, and continues to trend as an anthem of inspiration.
Franchesca released one of her listener’s most cherished songs from her catalog, ‘created for this’, that motivates her audience to walk confidently in their purpose and God- given calling. Listeners are enjoying her latest drop ‘praise on repeat’ released in january 2024, gaining the support and attention of one of the gospel’s very own pillars, erica campbell. After yet another hit single. She’s most recently been recognized and awarded 2024 ‘artist of the year’. Her supporters are on the edge of their seats anticipating what’s next for her upcoming releases in 2024. Franchesca’s message and her music are impressively righteous, resilient, and relatable. With an electrical engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a MBA from Mercer University, Tameka is an engineer turned businesswoman. For the past 24 years, she’s been leading transformative initiatives across various domains including IT, procurement, finance, and HR at The Coca-Cola Company. Firmly believing that to whom much is given, much is required, Tameka actively serves on the boards of the Global Village Project, a school for refugee girls whose education has been interrupted, and the Greater Women’s Business Council, an organization championing women-owned businesses and gender equality. Recently appointed to the City of Atlanta’s Office of the Mayor Women’s Advisory Council, she seeks to shape policy and direct resources toward initiatives that empower women, while also honoring the indelible contributions of Atlanta’s pioneering women.
Outside of her professional and philanthropic endeavors, you can find her reading a good book, spending quality time with her husband, Darrell; feeding the growing appetites of her boys, Ryan and Bryce; cheering them on at their sports pursuits, and cleaning up after them (smile).
