SUMMARY:Lavender Sunday – Cancer Awareness
DESCRIPTION:Cancer Awareness Sunday, also called “Lavender Sunday,” is a special day dedicated to raising awareness about all types of cancer. Lavender is often the color symbolizing universal cancer awareness, as it represents support for people affected by any type of cancer. On this day, congregations often come together to provide encouragement, honor survivors, and remember those who have passed.\n
